This page explains what Lumaze collects, why, and the rules for using the game. It’s written to be read. If anything is unclear, write to [email protected].
Privacy
What we collect
- An anonymous player ID. Lumaze creates a guest account the first time you open it. There’s no sign-up and we don’t ask for your email.
- Your display name. The name you pick (or the random one we suggest) is shown publicly on leaderboards and to other players in races.
- Gameplay data. Your level progress, times, coins, cosmetics, race results and a compact record of each run’s moves. We use the run record to check scores are genuine.
- Linked game accounts, if you choose. If you link Google Play Games, we receive the account ID needed to restore your progress on a new device.
- Purchases. Google Play handles payment. We receive confirmation that you bought an item (such as Remove ads) so we can unlock it; we never see your card details.
- Basic technical data. App version, device type and error reports, so we can fix crashes.
How we use it
To run the game: save your progress, show leaderboards, match you with other players, stop cheating, unlock purchases, and fix problems. We don’t sell your data.
Ads
If ads are shown, they come from an ad network that may use your device’s advertising ID to choose and measure ads. You can reset or delete that ID in your Android settings. Buying Remove ads turns off banners and full-page ads; optional reward videos you choose to watch still work.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run Lumaze: our hosting and database provider, Google Play (purchases and Play Games), and an ad network when ads are on. Other players see your display name, ball style, and race and leaderboard results.
Keeping and deleting your data
To delete your account and its data, email [email protected] with your display name. We’ll delete it within 30 days. Uninstalling the app doesn’t delete your account.
Children
Lumaze is made for a general audience. We don’t ask for names, emails or other personal details, and display names are filtered for offensive words. If you believe a child has shared personal information through a display name, contact us and we’ll remove it.
Terms of use
- Playing. You may play Lumaze for personal, non-commercial use. The game, its art and its sounds belong to Lumaze.
- Fair play. Don’t cheat, use bots, modify the app or exploit bugs to climb leaderboards. We may remove scores or accounts that break this rule.
- Names. Pick a display name that isn’t offensive, misleading or someone else’s. We may change names that are.
- Coins and purchases. Coins are earned in the game, have no cash value, and can’t be sold or transferred. Remove ads is a one-time purchase tied to your Google account. Refunds follow Google Play’s policies.
- Changes. We may update the game, its features and these terms. If we make an important change, we’ll update the date above.
- No guarantees. Lumaze is provided as is. We can’t promise it will always be available or free of bugs.
- Bugs and lost data. To the extent the law allows, we’re not responsible for bugs, outages, or lost progress, scores, coins or cosmetics, including after an update, a reinstall or a change of device. A Remove ads purchase can always be restored from the app with Restore purchase. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
