How the maze game plays

01One glimpse. Then darkness.

Every maze flashes once at the start. After that you only see the few cells around your ball. Follow the hum of the exit, and the paths you’ve already crossed stay faintly lit.

02Things in the dark

Shadows wake up and hunt your light. Launchers sweep the halls, sentries open fire when they see you, and brick walls seal the way until you blast through. Portals fling you across the maze.

03Fight back

Drop mines to put Shadows back to sleep. Tap to fire your blaster. Grab sparks for a wider light and arrows for speed, and save a Surge for when you’re cornered.

04Race your friends

Jump into a real-time multiplayer quick match, invite friends to a private room, or practise against bots. Same maze, one exit, and a slow-motion replay when it comes down to a photo finish. Prefer teamwork? Explore new levels together in co-op.

05How deep can you go?

Every level has its own leaderboard, and a weekly board gives newcomers a real shot at the top. Play a maze each day to earn coins for new balls, trails and blaster effects.

Questions

Is Lumaze free?

Yes. Lumaze is free on Android with no sign-up. An optional one-time purchase removes ads.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. After level 10 you can race up to 3 other players in real time in the same maze: quick match with strangers, a private room with friends, or practice against bots. Co-op lets you explore new levels together.

Is it relaxing or fast?

Both. Solo runs are calm and quiet: a soft light, a humming exit and no rush unless you want one. Races and later levels are fast, with Shadows, Sentries and rivals to dodge.

How many levels are there?

1,000. They start as small warm-up mazes and grow into huge labyrinths, with a new maze layout every time you play. See the guide for everything you’ll meet along the way.

The exit is out there.
